BNP Paribas and Microsoft have collaborated to launch a new payment solution embedded within Microsoft Teams. This innovative solution enables users to securely request and accept payments from clients directly within the Teams application. It is initially targeted at professional individuals and small businesses, but is expected to eventually open up new B2B sales channels for larger businesses.

This innovative payment solution leverages Microsoft’s innovation know-how, BNP Paribas’ robust payment technology and the flexibility and agility of fintech partners (FLOA & Stancer) to provide a secure and frictionless payment experience.

Emmanuelle François, Head of Axepta Europe at BNP Paribas: 

"The offer of a new, secure, frictionless commercial channel will enable companies to move closer to their clients." 

The solution will initially be deployed in France, but is expected to expand to other European countries. With a worldwide Microsoft Teams user base, the market for new services could be massive. 

This innovative solution is a testament to the power of collaboration between financial institutions and technology companies.
